Can a zombie pray, can it be redeemed in the eyes of God? Is it's soul forever trapped in the rebirthed flesh of animal instinctual primacy, lost forever to the graces of God's forgiveness.
The life of a zombie is one of constant sin. The base, depraved ferocity of the nature's savagery is only tamed by the lack of control the nerves have over higher order function.
If the zombie body had greater control it would satiate its base sexual desires as much as it does its hunger for flesh.
Less capable zombies will feed on the plants and dirt, stuffing anything of mass and substance into their mouths. While others will cannibalise other zombies in their desire to feed. What can be called life for a zombie is one of constant, perpetual and indiscriminate consumption of desire.
Nor is the soul of the person lost when a zombie reanimates its flesh. A zombie is not soulless, but the soul is captured as a frustrated and ineffectual observer, doomed to witness each depravity, each sin, that the orchestrated nervous system commits.
I pray constantly, this is not me, I am not it.
John 11:25. I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.
Without God's grace, without free will; I am a prisoner of both death and life.
